Practical Sustainability Zine:
After two years of being an art director for the Rising Project, my final sendoff was the zine I Can Do That! The goal of this project was to show people the different ways we can make an impact on the environment around us. By following Delta Dude, our loyal mascot, on his journey we show all the different ways amazing people are having a positive impact on their environment. In doing so, we hope to inspire people to think positively about a brighter future because they too Can Do That!
meet Rising:
The Rising project is a student run environmental activism group with one goal: changing the way things have always been done.
During the 2021-2022 academic year, we created a physical timeline on the University of Oregon campus to show our community notable moments in environmental history, both good and bad, compared to the rise in global surface temperature.
In 2023 we are starting fresh. First, a new practicable sustainability merch campaign with an all new brand look. Through a social campaign comprised of photo, video, written stories, and design we share our ideas with our community via our social medias and website.
